Obituary: Mrs. Linda Gayle Williamson

 

Mrs. Linda Gayle Williamson of Dothan passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at her residence. She was 75. 

A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb in charge of arrangements. 

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Monya Aplin on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Byron Williamson; son, Morris Williamson; father, Daniel Powers; mother, Clynora Powers; father-in-law, Raymond Williamson; mother-in-law, Alama Williamson; sisters, Augusta Cunningham, Sue Lambert, and Faye Brown; sister-in-law, Lillian Thornell; brother-in-law, Lawarence Williamson. 

Survivors included: daughter, Monya Aplin (Allen); brother, Danny Powers (Kaye) grandchildren, Ashton Hayes (Justin), Wesley Aplin (Tiffany), Alana Lawarence (Tyler), Bryon Williamson (Gypsy), Jacob Williamson (Lindsay); great-grandchildren, Judson Hayes, Walker Hayes, Haxton Aplin, Ryder Williamson, Blayke Williamson, Holden Williamson and other extended family and friends.
