Mrs. Linda Joyce Golden Wilson, age 72, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, July 6, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Dothan with Reverend Tim Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Graceville, Florida with Glover Funeral Home directing. 

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday prior to services from 9:30 am until 10:15 am.  Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Wilson was born on August 14, 1950, in Holmes County, Florida, the daughter of Robert Jefferson Golden and Maida Carnley Golden.  She grew up in Holmes and Jackson Counties, worked as a homemaker, and was Assembly of God.  Mrs. Wilson enjoyed quilting, putting puzzles together, crossword puzzles, coloring, sewing and word searches.  She especially loved her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years, McArthur Wilson, grandchildren, Jordan Colby, Lacey Wilson, Grayson Wayne Williams, Olivia Wilson; a great-grandchild, Jarvish Persons, Jr.; brothers, William E. Golden, Robert L. Golden, and Leroy Golden.

Survivors include: 3 daughters, Linda Gail Quick (Charles), Kinsey; Barbara Gray (Ronnie), Dothan; Kimberly Matthews, Newville; 3 sons, Tim Wilson (Nichole), Chipley, Fl.; Thomas Wilson (Tracy), Black; Michael Wilson (Neili), Angie, LA; 3 sisters, Ruby Crutchfield, Hartford; Ann Holland, Dothan; Grace Peacock, Cowarts; brother, Billy Golden (Kathy), Slocomb; 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Aaron Wilson, Jamison Hatcher, Jeffrey Gray, Ronnie Gray, Jr., Travis Armstrong, and Nathan Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family would like to give a special Thank you to the nurses and staff at N.W. Florida Community Hospital in Chipley for the special care and love that they gave Mrs. Wilson and family during her time there as a patient.
