Linda Powell Wilkinson, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her residence. She was 77.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilkinson will be held at 10:30  AM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Welcome Assembly of God Church in Dellwood, Florida with Pastor Steven Subel officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Linda was born September 23, 1945 in Jackson County, Florida to the late Chester and Corine Mitchell Powell. She lived the early years of her life in Jackson County and was a 1963 graduate of Greenwood High School. Linda began work at Denny Vision and retired as an Accounts Receivable clerk following a 30 year career. Following her retirement, she became a School Crossing Guard for Dothan City Schools. She was a member of Welcome Assembly in Dellwood, Florida.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Wilkinson.

Survivors include her children, Tim and Tonya Wilkinson, Amy and Corey Patterson; grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Hill, Hunter and Marlee Wilkinson, Caleb, Colby and Avery Patterson; great grandchildren, AbbyKate and AllieReese Hill; sister, Wanda Johnson.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Enhabit Hospice and a special caregiver, Cleo Lane.
