LAFAYETTE, GA…Mrs. Lisa Marie English Minton, a resident of LaFayette, Georgia (formerly of Ozark), died Friday evening, December 9, 2022, at her home. She was 56.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 16, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mrs. Minton, daughter of the late John English and Billie Barnes English, was a native of Ozark. She attended Carroll High School and moved to Georgia in 2005. Mrs. Minton was formerly employed with ICS Cleaning Company in Georgia as a supervisor. She was preceded in death by a special sister, Michelle Smith Potter; a sister-in-law, Debbie English; two brothers-in-law, Danny Holland and James Bryant.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Kenneth “Bouncer” Minton, LaFayette, Georgia; her children, Cameron Sasser (Robin), Ozark, Mark Brewington, Amber Hernandez (Enrique), Mason Brewington (Haley), and Vivian Minton (Antonio); her siblings, John English, Susan Kepler (Rick), and Donna Bryant, all of Jacksonville, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Cayden Brewington, Brayden Brewington, Trace Brewington, Reagan Sasser, Riley Sasser, Ramsey Sasser, Makayla Hernandez, and Alexia Hernandez; longtime family friend, Paul Potter, Ozark.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be family members.
