Mrs. Margaret Jean Weatherton of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 69.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with Rev. Mike Heath officiating.  Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Weatherton was born on July 4, 1942 in Opelika, AL to the late Bonnie Petersen Fulford and Tillman Howell.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters:  Sue Webb and Faye Finney, and one brother, Edward Howell.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Weatherton of Donaldsonville, GA; two daughters:  Sherry Youngblood of Orlando, FL, Jackie Weatherton and John Skerlick of Dothan; two sons:  Mike and Martha Biggs Youngblood of Ocala, FL, Carl and Tammy Dean Youngblood of Hartford; grandchildren:  Madison Youngblood, Shelby Youngblood, Joshua Youngblood, Seth Youngblood, Justin Palmer, Austin Skerlick, Amber Johnson; great grandchildren:  Jenna Palmer, Jaycie Palmer, Spencer Johnson; two sisters:  Elise Adkinson, Eloise Lovering; four brothers:  James Howell, Durl Howell, Ronnie Petersen, William Howell; several nieces and nephews.
