   Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Lavender Wynn, a resident of Ariton, went to be with The Lord early Monday morning, May 2, 2022. She was 84 years old.



   Funeral services for Mrs. Wynn will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2022, from Salem Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.


   Mrs. Wynn was born March 29, 1938 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Ernest Edmond Lavender and Myrtis Hagler Lavender. She worked with Civil Service at Fort Rucker and later as an Air Traffic Specialist for The Federal Aviation Administration, retiring following 30 years of service.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Wynn; her sister, Linda Hoar; and two brothers-in-law, James Doster and Roger Thompson.


   She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Brenda Wynn of Dothan; two grandchildren, Brittney Wise (Bradley) and Wesley Wynn; two great grandchildren, Kimber Wise and Cooper Wise; two sisters, Sara Doster of Abbeville and Vicki Thompson of Skipperville.


   Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Don Johnson, P. O. Box 196, Skipperville, Alabama 36374.
