Mrs. Martha Garner Umphrey of Dothan passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. She was 89.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2015.

Mrs. Umphrey is preceded in death by her parents Albert Erly Garner and Martha Debardeleben Garner, husband Quentin P. Umphrey, four brothers Erle Garner, Fred Garner, Dr. Al Garner, Dr. Joe Garner and one sister Louise Wadkins.

Survivors include  son Quentin G. Umphrey of Dothan; daughter Jo Ann Matthews of Albany, GA;  grandchildren Amanda Dodson, Allison Batts, Amber Smith, Michael Matthews, Chandler Matthews, Quentin Umphrey, great-grandchildren Mattie Dodson, Landon Dodson, Nadia Batts, Kayla Smith, Morgan Smith, Julia Batts, Collier Dodson, and several nieces and nephews.
