Mary Annette Sizemore, a loving, generous, and thoughtful woman, passed away on May 31, 2023, in Dothan, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Harper Joy Assembly of God Church with Reverend Eddie Littlefield and Reverend Jerry Harden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Sizemore was born March 19, 1945 to the late AZ and Mary Clyde Tyson. She was a loving wife who took care of her husband for 10 years after he suffered a stroke and was also a loving mother and grandmother. She loved reading and had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, particularly flowers and plants.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Calvin Earl Sizemore, son Randy Earl Sizemore, brother John Paul Tyson and daughter-in-law Sandra Sizemore.
She is survived by her children Jamie Sizemore, Joel Sizemore (Marea), Kimberly Farnan (Michael), brother Larry Tyson (Wanda), sister Robbie Harden (Jerry), sister-in-law Teresa Tyson, grandchildren Taylor Sizemore, Mallory Jo Burdeshaw, Anna Kate Sizemore, Clayton Sizemore, Beth Sizemore, Amber Farnan, great-grandchildren Camden and Raegan, and several nieces and nephews and special niece Becky Harden.
Mary Annette Sizemore will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
