Mrs. Mary L. Branton Snell, age 84, of Dothan, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018.

 

Mary was born December 20, 1933 in Rehobeth, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Shelby and Rillie Branton.

 

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Corbitt C Snell; and her brothers, Talmadge Branton, Foy Brandon, and Bobby J. Branton.

 

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tami S. Whiddon (Dennis); her grandchildren, Amber C. Lambert (Mark) and Adam Cooper (Brandy); her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Adam Cooper, Annaleigh Cooper, Cooper Allen Lambert, and Ava Claire Lambert; and her sister-in-law, Ann B Branton.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, September 3, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until service time at the funeral home.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Wiregrass Humane Society, 255 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL  36303.
