Mrs. Mary E. Kelly of Dothan passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the age of 91.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2022, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Kelly was born August 24, 1931 in Headland, Alabama to the late Antley Hicks and Ida Mae Highes Hicks. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ben Kelly, Sr., children Ben Kelly, Jr., Betty Shipes, grandchildren Tommy Shipes, Betty Ray, Teddy Lawrence, Terrell Bridges, and great-grandchildren Paxton Kennedy.
She is survived by her children Jackie Kelly (Renae), Frances Watson (Glen), Ann McKinney, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Kelly, Wayne Shipes, Bo Shipes, Braxton Kennedy, John Bridges and Michael Bridges.
