Mrs. Mary Love Mercer of Ashford passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her residence with her immediate family at her side.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Crestlawn Cemetery with Reverends John Smith and Marrell Turvin officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Mercer was born June 16, 1932 to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Love. She worked for Westex, loved farming, gardening, working in her yard and loved being outside. She loved playing with her four leg babies, Allie, Deltapine, Biscuit, and Brandie. Mrs. Mercer also loved her soap operas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Love, brothers James, Alto, Cecil, Alphus, Raymond, George, and sisters Thelma, Ethel, Marcell, LaDean, and Lucille.

She is survived by her husband Charles Mercer, two sons Greg (Pat) Mercer, and Ronnie Mercer both of Ashford; one daughter Terry Snellgrove, grandson Nick (Amber) Snellgrove of Ashford; and one great-grandchild due September 14, 2015.

We appreciate Gentiva Hospice/ HomeHealth and all the staff that helped and cared for our mother and grandma.
