Mrs. Mary Marjorie Gaylord of Cottonwood passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the age of 79.


Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 10 to 11 A.M. Flowers will be accepted.


Mrs. Gaylord was born February 6, 1943 to the late Gordon Etheridge and Frances Etheridge Dickson.


She is preceded in death by her husband, James Maxwell “Rex” Gaylord, Sr. sister, Barbara Mertes and brother, Larry Etheridge.


She is survived by her children, Donna Womack (Kevin), Debra Vann (Lance), Jim Gaylord (Tonya), Dana Peters (Terry Wayne), grandchildren, Billy Womack (Paige), Jayde Pepper (Boyd), Halee Davis (Kevin), Stewart Vann, Owen Gaylord, Gavin Gaylord, Justin Gaylord, Cara Arnold (Austin), Gunnar Peters, Autumn Hitchcock (Travis), Peyton Peters, Tanner Purvis, numerous great grandchildren whom she loved very much, sisters, Martha Paulk (Auburn), Betty Stewart (Darryl), Merlene Pynes (Mack), Claranel Vandevender (Bobby), Sherry Lewis, and brother, Keith Etheridge, and special friend, Glenn Sollie.


Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
