Mrs. Mary Smith Mock of Coffee Springs went home to be with her Lord Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Noland Hospital.  She was 72. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Geneva with Reverend Joel Snell and Sister Brenda Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Mock was born January 25, 1943 in Perry, FL to the late Delmar Henry and Edna Eloise Duckworth Smith. She was a dedicated Christian who loved singing gospel music and was a member of the Happy Travelers and attended Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Geneva. Family was an important part of her life and she greatly enjoyed spending time with them.  She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents, her stepfather, Willis Alan Smith and sister, Darlene Mizell preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband, Pharon Mock, Coffee Springs; son, Jim E. Mock (Lisa), Enterprise; step children: Doval Mock (Pat), Coffee Springs, Archie Mock (Joann), Samson, Shirlon Thorne (Wayne), Coffee Springs and Shelia Purvis (Donnie), New Brockton; brother, Buddy Smith (Judy), Waynesville, GA; aunt, Linda Ellison, Perry FL; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
