On Sunday, July 3rd 2022 Mary Winfield Wash, known to many as “Bootsie” passed away at the age of 75 in Dothan, Alabama.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents Mason and Sylvia, her sister Leilani Anderson, her husband Rickey Wash, and her son Christopher Wash. She is most likely listening to Elvis while reading a romance novel, flicking her “nervous belt”, and sipping on blush wine out of a Snoopy glass, all the while surrounded by lighthouses. Mary was a devoted and loving wife, a caring and compassionate mother, and a dear friend to many.
She is survived by her sister Betsy Drewry, daughter Alaina Hardie and her partner Kelli Caballero, her son William Wash and his wife Ilana Nauman, her daughter in law Candice Wash, her grandchildren Liam Wash, Aidan Wash, Sydney Wash, Maggie Wash, Joey Wash, and Maya Caballero-Hardie, her niece Lisa Underwood, her nephew Russ Anderson, many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and classmates from Stuart Circle Hospital.
The family will have private services.
