Mrs. Mary Yetive Ragland Smith of Dothan died Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was 95.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Cowarts Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Reverends Tim Rabon and Ricky Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Cowarts Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Smith was born July 6, 1916, in Houston County, Alabama, the daughter of the late J.C. Fowler and Conner Thomley Fowler. Mrs. Smith was a lifetime member of Cowarts Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was a very special person who was loved by her family.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Grady Smith, five brothers, and three sisters.

 

Survivors include one sister-in-law, one special niece, Patsy and David Rabon, one special nephew, Rodney and Carolyn Fowler, and several nieces and nephews.
