Mrs. Matha Jill Wilson, a resident of Pike Road, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home at the age of 79.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Hale Officiating. Interment will be in Fort Mitchell National Veterans Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 10:30 A.M. until service time.

Mrs. Wilson was born August 26, 1942 in Fort Gaines, Georgia and grew up in the Echo Community. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1960.  She met and married her husband in 1970 and worked at Fort Rucker until she started to raise her family. Mrs. Wilson loved her flowers and puzzles but especially loved her family.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Bell Spears and her brother, Jimmy Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy John Wilson of Pike Road; one son, Hanan Wilson (Kelly) of Pike Road; four grandchildren, Lauren Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Michael Wilson Drew Whitehead and Henry Whitehead.
