Mrs. Mollie Evelyn Richardson of Geneva passed away at Wiregrass Medical Center on Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was 96. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Gary Winstead officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.

Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lee Richardson; and her son, Ronald Richardson. She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Bedsole (Orell) and Joyce Weeks (James), both of Opp; four sons, Charles Richardson of Geneva, Coy D. Richardson (Lauretta) of Elba, Jerry Richardson (Betty) of Geneva, Marshall Richardson (Mary Ann) of Daleville; sister, Josie Miller of DeFuniak Springs, FL; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-seven great grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
