ARITON… Mrs. Ouida Tyler Sasser, a resident of Ariton, died late Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2022, in Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 93.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.


            Mrs. Sasser, daughter of the late William Martin Tyler and Jenny Francis Jackson Tyler, was a native and lifelong resident of Ariton. She loved to fish with her sisters, Wavie and Naomi. Mrs. Sasser enjoyed cooking and cleaning her home. Mrs. Sasser was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sasser; her siblings, Orie Shipman, Mary Shehane, Mavis Garner, Bonnie Ruth Baker, Wavie Hartzog, Kathlene Tyler, Naomi Laney, EJ Tyler, Lewie Tyler, and Cecil Tyler.


            Surviving relatives are several nieces and nephews including her nephew, Mike Hartzog (Debra), Pensacola, FL and niece, Wanda Money (Mack), Ariton
