   Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” McDaniel, a resident of Brundidge, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old.


   A memorial service for Mrs. McDaniel will be held 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Mr. Steve McDaniel officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   Mrs. McDaniel was born July 4, 1940 in Blue Springs, Alabama to the late Atlas Henderson and Tommie Carroll Henderson. She attended school in Blue Springs and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Lincoln School of Nursing. She worked with Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy in the neonatal department. Mrs. McDaniel was baptized in Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge. She loved to garden, crochet, fishing, playing dominos and puzzles.


   Pat adored her grandchildren and her two fur babies, Toby and Gabby.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ronald Freddie McDaniel; and two sisters, Melzie Bridges and Kathy Carpenter.


   Survivors include three daughters, Sheila Ann Jordan of Troy, Cynthia Griswold of Enterprise, Donna Kay Avant (Freddy) of Brundidge; one son, Steve Thrash (Wendy) of Wetumpka; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
