Obituary: Mrs. Patricia Lee Westerhouse Tanton

 

Mrs. Patricia Lee Westerhouse Tanton passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Southeast Health. She was 82.

 

Due to the circumstances of the Covid 19 pandemic a private family graveside service will be held at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Nordstrom officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

 

Mrs. Tanton was born February 12, 1938 in Springdale, Minnesota to the late Harold Willard and Lucille Hansman Westerhouse. Pat attended Redwood Falls, MN high school. She married Paul Tanton in 1965. After their marriage they lived in Texas, Utah, New Hampshire, Georgia, Iowa, Japan, and Germany. They then settled in Webb, AL.

 

In addition to her parents, her in-laws: Cecil and Arrabia Tanton; brother-in-law, Milan and sisters-in-law, Elaine Tanton, and Joy Tanton all preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her husband, Paul Ellison Tanton, Webb; daughter, Debra Kay Terrell (Ken), Macon, GA; son, Dean William Tanton, Milner, GA; granddaughter, Michelle and great-grandson, Austyn, Macon, GA; two sisters: Jo Anne Richert (Wayne), Danville, OH, and Linda Lou Addair (Marty), Howard, OH; brother-in-law, Jerry Tanton, Hartford; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
