Mrs. Pauline Miller, 97 of Dothan passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 8, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Stephanie Cox officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 13, 2024, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to Vaughn Blumberg 2715 Box 8646, Dothan, Al 36304 or to Highland Park Methodist Church 1619 South Park Ave. Dothan, Al 36301. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Miller was born May 2, 1926, to the late Eldo Sharpe and Ina Gentry Sharpe. She worked at Flowers Hospital in the ER, Urology Associates and Home Oil Company. She loved being outside working in her flower beds and reading. She enjoyed her Bible Study and was a longtime member of Highland Park Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by a son Dale Miller of Cottonwood, two brothers and three sisters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her son Dennis Miller (Sue), grandchildren Michelle Whitehurst (Ashley), Wade Miller, four great-grandchildren Josh Lashley (Whitney), Abby Haley (Brian), Trevor Whitehurst, Seth Whitehurst, two great-great grandchildren Finn and Blakelynn Lashley and several nieces and nephews.
