Mrs. Peggy Jean Adams of Harpers Joy Road, Dothan passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at SAMC.  She was 71.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Littlefield officiating.  Burial will follow in Burns Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until service time. 

Mrs. Adams was born on June 9, 1940 in West Point, MS to the late Gene and Melba Pearson.  She was of the Baptist faith. 

Her husband, Robert Ray Adams and a daughter, Peggy Renee Brown, preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her one daughter:  Becky Tarwater (Randy) of Dothan; two sons:  Charles R. “Bobby” Adams (Lorrie), Russell Eugene Adams (Michelle) all of Dothan; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
