 Mrs. Peggy Jones of Dothan passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the age of 76.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, February1, 2022, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. She graduated from Houston County High School in 1963. She worked in banking for 19 years at First National, Southtrust of Dothan and London International. She retired from the Houston County Commission.

Mrs, Jones is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Warren McLain Sr. and Mary Frances Smith, husband, Willie Royce Jones, sister, Lorraine Walker, brothers-in-law, Randall Jones, Max Culbreth, sisters-in-law, Maxine Culbeth, and Wanda Fassett,

Survivors include sons, Stephen Jones (Wendy), Ashley Jones “AJ” (Traci), brothers, Thomas McLain, Hubert McLain, Jr. (Joanna), John Austin McLain (Pam), Charles Martin McLain (Angela), brothers-in-law, Odell Walker, Lavoid Jones (Janice), Dave Fassett, sister-in-law, Teresa Wood, grandchildren, Landon Jones (Ashlyn), Tyler Jones, Caleb Jones, Sophie Jones (Tye Nowell), Abbey-Leigh Jones, Alexis-Marie Jones, Kelsey Risner, Taylor Holley (Chelsi), great-grandchildren, Gunner Faison, Hunter Risner, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and a special friend, Donna McLain.

Pallbearers will be Landon Jones, Tyler Jones, Caleb Jones, Jason Walker, Scott Smith and Wesley McLain.
