Mrs. Rita H. Mahan of Geneva, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was 69.


  


Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 19,2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Geneva with Rev. Steve Skidmore and Chaplain Larry Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.


  


Rita was born on July 20,1951 to the late Jim J. and Hazel J. McDonald Harrison. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Mahan, and a brother Greg Harrison. She was a dedicated mother who put her family before everything. She especially loved her role as grand momma to her only grandchild, Rhya. She had a spirited Personality.


and always made people around her laugh. She had a close connection to God and trusted him completely as she fought her tough battle with cancer. She has eagerly awaited the day that she would be reunited with her husband Carl and family she has lost along the way. Rita had an obsessive (and sometimes comical during game season) love of Auburn football and watching any game with her was pure entertainment.


 Survivors include her two sons, Ryan Moore (Shanna) and Steven Scott Early both of Geneva, granddaughter Rhya Moore of Geneva, Sister Jeanette McLeod of Winter Springs, FL and Brother Rodney Harrison (Elaine) of Midland, GA
