OZARK…. Mrs. Sheila S. Searcy, a resident of Ozark, joined her heavenly father late Tuesday evening, March 24, 2020 in a Dothan hospital. She was 59.


            Due to the COVID-19 Virus, Governor’s Office Orders, and the CDC,  there will be a private family homegoing service in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Freddie Smith officiating. A public homegoing service will be announced at a later date. Please feel free to sign the online register and leave your condolences for the family.


            Mrs. Searcy was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. She was a 1979 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace College. Mrs. Searcy was currently employed with Dale Medical Center for the past twenty years. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Rudy and Sallie Mack Wiggins; her mother, Sallie McLeod and her brother, Sammie Lee McLeod.  


            Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jason Searcy; her three daughters, Taekata Romero (Andres); Cherrissa Williams (Lorenza), and Chasity Barrow; her son, Timothy Barrow, all of Ozark; two brothers, Troy Wiggins, Atlanta, GA and Tony Wiggins, Talladega, AL; her grandchildren, Keanu Gissendanner, Preston Williams, Abigail Williams, Isabelle Williams, Tristan Stuckey, and Gabbriele Joyner, Davaris Barrow, Marquise Barrow, Ladayzha Barrow, and Lauydnn Barrow; her great-grandson, Keanu Trevon Johnson; father of her children, Willie C. Barrow, Jr.
