Mrs. Shirley Ann Singletary of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She was 81.

 

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the church from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon Saturday, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Singletary is preceded in death by her husband John Singletary, parents Everett P. Kirkland and Laura Arleta Thurman Kirkland, Dewey Kirkland and sister-in-law Maureen Kirkland.

 

Survivors include daughter Jenny DeBoo (Jeff), son Gary Singletary (Wanda), grandchildren Amanda, Joshua (Victoria) Singletary, Chase Boyett, great-grandchild Bella Singletary, special family friend William Skinner and several nieces and nephews.
