OZARK…Mrs. Sonja R. “Sam” White Green, a resident of Ozark, died Monday morning, August 1, 2022, at her home. She was 74.     

            Private graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Community Hospice Chaplain, Adam Mulliner officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Brown Bag Program of Dothan or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

            Mrs. Green, daughter of the late Richard Alton White and Betty Ruth Hicks White, was a native of Dothan. She was retired as a truck driver for Up Staging in Indiana after twenty-five years employment. Mrs. Green enjoyed reading, playing computer games, and loved dogs. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, John Daniel Green; lifelong friend and adopted brother, Kenneth Davis.

            Surviving relatives include her sons, William E. McRae (Wanda J.), Ozark, Danny Taylor and Bobby Taylor; a daughter, Betty Jo Cherry (Randy); several grandchildren.
