Mrs. Texie Mae Andrews Thomas of Westville, FL passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. She was 83.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Ida Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

 Mrs. Thomas was born on March 6, 1939 to the late Jonathan Edward and Eula Elberta Tadlock Andrews. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a devout Christian, who loved the Lord and faithfully served Him. Her life could be summed up through these words; faith, hope, and love. In her spare time, she loved flower gardening, planting seeds and watching beautiful flowers grow.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herbert Lomax “Max” Thomas; a sister, Loray Padgett and a brother, Freeman Andrews.

 She is survived by one son, Joey Thomas (Jeanette) of Westville, FL; one daughter, Nina Adams (Wesley) of Bonifay, FL; two grandchildren, Ashlin Miron (Joseph) of Bonifay, FL, Ethan C. Thomas of Panama City, FL; two sisters, Audrey Kay Gillis (Leroy) of Westville, FL and Johnnie Ruth Sansbury of Russellville, AL  and many special nieces and nephews.
