Wannah Renee Blackmon, a resident of  Dothan, Alabama died peacefully Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 46.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.


Wannah was born to Wannah Mathis Martin and the late Jimmy Blackmon on November 30, 1977. She owned and operated Wannah’s House Keeping for many years before having to take a medical retirement. Wannah enjoyed spending precious time and making lasting memories with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother not only to her very own, but to other children as well. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.


She was preceded in death by her late husband, Shane Adams; her father; and two brothers, Eddie White and Jimbob White.


Left to cherish her memories are her mother; two sons, Dylan Glover and Sebastien Still; three daughters, Destiny Blackmon-Skirde (Richard), Lena Martin, and Grace Hartfield (Jacob); five grandchildren, Richard Blackmon-Skirde, Lakelynn Blackmon-Skirde, Xavier Martin, Landyn Glover, and Jamie Hartfield; a nephew, Dustin White; a niece, Brandy White; along with many friends.
