Mrs. Willie Dean F. Brannen of Geneva, Alabama passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 after a long illness she was 93.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church Geneva, Alabama with the Rev. Jake Brady officiating.  Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, Alabama with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral of Geneva, Alabama directing.  Visitation will be held Monday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Church and last until service time.

Mrs. Brannen was born August 13, 1925 in Coosa County Alabama to the late Joseph William and Cora Green Ferguson.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She worked for the Geneva County Reaper as a newspaper reported and a substitute teacher in Geneva High School.

Preceded in death by her parents and three sisters; Glenda Norrel, Fay McClenny and Odessa Ferguson.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wylie Brannen, Geneva, Alabama and one daughter, Deana Brannen Washburn (Brandon) of Hoover, Alabama and one grandson, Wyler Washburn.
