Mrs. Zena Corbin Parker of Midland City passed away Friday, September 28, 2012, at her residence. She was 82.


 


A memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Sylvan Grove in Midland City with Dr. Jerry Dooling officiating.


 


Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Davaita Kidney Dialysis in Dothan.


 


Mrs. Parker was a loving mother, who loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her late sister. She loved all her animals, loved cooking, and working in her garden. She also did work for the Humane Society.


 


She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Minnie Strickland, and four brothers and sisters.


 


Survivors include her daughters, Diane Felice of Winter Haven, FL; Linda Floyd and her husband, Lindsey of Midland City’ son, Thomas Glenn Corbin and his wife, Marie of Newton; sister, Vera Mae Hampton of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Mack Strickland of DeFuniak Springs, FL; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
