Ms. Billie Jean (Turner) Kelly, 53, of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2024. She passed away at her brother’s home in Midland City, Alabama after an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Kelly will be held at 12:00 p.m. until, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the home of her parents Billy and Carolyn Turner, 6299 County Road 75 North, Clopton, Alabama, 36317.

Flowers will be accepted.

Ms. Kelly was born June 14, 1970, in Ozark, Alabama to Billy and Carolyn Ann (Mulkey) Turner.

She graduated from Abbeville High School in 1988. Ms. Turner grew up attending New Prospect Baptist Church, and Adams Chapel UMC. She worked in Customer Service for several years at Cracker Barrel and Fred’s.

Ms. Turner loved animals and collected beautiful animal prints to display in her home. She enjoyed all types of plants and flowers and loved spending time outdoors.

Survivors include her parents, Billy and Carolyn Turner of Clopton; two children, Shelby Elizabeth Wilburn of Hoover, Alabama and Cody Dale Lawrence of Tomball, Texas; two brothers, James W. Turner (Karen) of Midland City, Alabama, and Jerry Turner of Abbeville, Alabama; two sisters, Lorrie Heath (Landon Clay) of Headland, Alabama, and Carol Poitevint (Wandell) of Webb, Alabama; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
