Obituary: Lillie Rachel Spann Keltner


 


Ms. Lillie Rachel Spann Keltner of Geneva passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Flowers Hospital. She was 84.


 


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with Rev. Phillip Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City cemetery.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Slocomb on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.


 


The family asked that flowers be omitted and donations be made in her memory to Freedom Christian Fellowship: P.O. Box 186 Black, AL 36314.


 


Mrs. Rachel was born July 28, 1927 in Dale County to the late Marvin J. and Evie Carswell Judah. She was a member of the Freedom Christian Fellowship Church.


 


 A son, Wayne Spann and two brothers: Wilburn Judah and Henry Judah preceded her in death.


 


Survivors include her daughters: Judy Palmore, Slocomb, Sonia Wolfe (Jeff), Bradenton, FL; one son, Mike Spann (Jim), Columbus, Ohio; brother, Charles Judah (Martha), Valdosta, GA; 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
