Ms. Melba Louise Smith of Slocomb passed away Saturday, March 17, at Oakview Manor Health Care Center in Ozark.  She was 78.

 

A Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, in Sorrells Funeral Home chapel.

 

Ms. Smith was born on November 29, 1933 in Pierceville Kansas to the late Bert and Lila Lattimore.   

 

One son, David B. Smith; and one brother, Ralph Lattimore all preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Melba S. Greiner (Michael) of Ft Drum, NY; two sons: Andrew C. Smith and Richard T. Smith (Carolyn) both of Slocomb; the father of her children, Treadwell Eudon Smith of Richland, MO; one sister, Barbara Byers (Gene) of The Dalles, OR; one brother, Donald E. Lattimore (Dawn) of Golden Dale, WA; nine grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
