OZARK…Ms. Nancy Marie Van Eaton, a resident of Ozark, died early Friday morning, October 27, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. She was 68.


            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 30, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Minister William Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.


            Ms. Van Eaton, daughter of the late Harvey Floyd Van Eaton and Judith Bosenbrock Van Eaton, was a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She formerly lived and worked in Milan, Somerville, and Bells, Tennessee before moving to Ozark in 2019. Ms. Van Eaton was a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for thirty-two years in Tennessee. She enjoyed many things in life, especially birds, her church, and her family. Ms. Van Eaton enjoyed her personal relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ. Her relationship with her granddaughter, Breanna, was very special to her. Ms. Van Eaton was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Van Eaton, James Van Eaton, and Glenn Van Eaton.


            Surviving relatives include her two sons, David Hill (Laura), Ozark and Terry Van Eaton (Rita), America Samoa; her sister, Angie Van Eaton; five grandchildren, Brendon Hill (Taylor), Breanna Hill, James Marquis (Ashley), Chris Mason (Haley), and Mikaela Bouma (Brian); nephew, James Van Eaton, Jr.
