Peggy Ann Butler, a resident of Pansey, Alabama died Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the home of her sister. She was 76.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Gordon City cemetery with Rev. Jeff Peacock officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

Peggy was born December 14, 1945 to the late Harris and Donis Trawick Butler, Sr. She was a 1964 graduate of Ashford High School and retired from Daniel Construction Company at Farley Nuclear Plant. Following retirement, she was a sitter for people in her community.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harris Butler, Jr.; sister, Shelby Jean Lanton.

Survivors include her siblings, Bobby (Deborah) Butler, Delores Murphy, Brenda Butler and a brother in law, Rudolph Lanton; several nieces and nephews.
