COLUMBIA. . .Muriel Kennedy Windsor, a former resident of Columbia, died early Saturday evening, March 2, 2024, in Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan. She was 102.

            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2024, in the First Baptist Church of Columbia with Pastor Vann Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. Monday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Columbia, P.O. Box 267, Columbia, AL 36319.

            Mrs. Windsor was born in Newton and was reared in Dothan, daughter of the late Thomas Kennedy and Addie Sinquefield Kennedy. She moved to Columbia in 1949  where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. Mrs. Windsor was retired as the Co-owner & operator of Windsor Auto Parts in Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Windsor, two sisters, Sadie Wynn and Rebecca Wynn, and a brother, Earl Kennedy.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Lisa Windham (Sean), Echo Community; grandchildren, Andy McLean (Sherry), Michelle Windham Smith (Steven), and Ashley Windham; great-grandchildren, Adalind McLean. Remington Smith and Aubrey Smith; nieces, Barbara Mason and Jenni Tillis; a special great-nephew, Cason Windham, and Mrs. Windsor’s best friend, Jackie Windham.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Andy McLean, Steven Smith, Mike Windham, Terry Windham, Tim Windham and Rocky Windham.
