Myrtle Morris of Taylor passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Flowers Hospital. She was 81 years old.

 

Memorial services will be held at 10am Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Bro. Ike Steverson officiating and Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

 

Myrtle was born February 4, 1936 in Elba, AL. She was a homemaker who loved her family, cooking, fishing, and spending time with her friends. She loved reading her Bible and talking about the Lord. She was a very special lady loved by everyone. She is going to be missed very much by all.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Morris; two sons, Terry Morris and Jimmy Morris.

 

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Morris of OK; three sons, Douglas Morris of Bonifay, FL, Joe Morris of Hartford, and Ronnie Morris of Dothan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Mills of Elba; several extended family members and friends.
