Myrtle McLean, age 87 of Enterprise, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 12, 2017.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 12:30 P.M. and will continue until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church Keenagers or children’s playground, 302 North Main St., Enterprise, AL 36330.


Myrtle was a member of First Baptist Church Enterprise, a lifetime Eastern Star and a member of “Daughters of the Nile”.  She and her husband, James owned and operated McLean Jewelry downtown Enterprise for many years.  Her favorite past time was traveling and playing dominoes.


She was preceded in death by her husband, James McLean and two sons, Jimmy and Jeff McLean; her parents, Clem and Lovie Lee Medley; three sisters, Fannie, Lola and Minnie; five brothers, Cobb, Josh, Shorty, Scooter and Red.


Survivors include two grandchildren, Justin McLean and Anna McLean, Birmingham; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas McLean, TX; Isabella Hudson, Birmingham, AL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Medley, Enterprise, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.


The family deeply appreciates the love and care given to Myrtle by Dr. David Rhyne and the Staff of Enterprise Health and Rehab.
