Nell N. Carmichael of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Enterprise Health and Rehab.  She was 94. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Ed Brashier officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.  

Mrs. Carmichael was born November 3, 1928, to the late Marvin W. and Omie Lee Nolin.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Carmichael, Sr.; sons, Daniel F. Carmichael, Jr. and Steven Marvin Carmichael; and several brothers and sisters.  She owned and operated Nell’s Beauty Shop for 47 years. 

Survivors include her son, David Carmichael (Leigh) of Elmore, Alabama; grandchildren, Laurie Allen (Rusty), Jill Salinas (Chris), Callie Sisk (Lee), Mary Beth Hughes, Spencer Wise (Lauren), Jennifer Byrd (Dustin), Emily Baxley (Hamp), and Daniel Carmichael III (Sara); special nieces, Virginia Martin and Cindy Watkins; and  numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
