DOTHAN. . .Nellie McArdle Andrews, a resident of Dothan, died late Friday night, October 22, 2021, at her home. She was 90.

       Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Highway, Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303.

       Mrs. Andrews was born and reared in Kinsey, daughter of the late Henry Austin McArdle and Pearline Roney McArdle. She had lived in Dothan since 1958 and was a graduate of Riley Business College. Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Kinsey Baptist Church. She was retired, due to medical issues, from the State of Alabama Employment Service. In earlier years, she was employed by Theodore Jackson, Attorney.  Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her husband, Hilburn Oates Andrews, a sister, Luverne Burdeshaw Giles, and three brothers, Nathaniel McArdle, John Gerald McArdle and Bobby Ray McArdle.

       Surviving relatives include a daughter, Sherry J. Marlow (Randall), Dothan; two grandchildren, Dr. Allison K. Marlow and William R. Marlow; several nieces and nephews.
