Nilsa Gisela Olvera-Vélez of San Juan, Puerto Rico has been called by Heaven’s Angels on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 while at home.  She was 55.

          Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 6, 2012 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel .  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

           Survivors include her three daughters, Chela Nilsa San Miguel (Pedro) Enterprise, AL; Laura Rivera, Concord, NC; Nayda Rivera-Everhart (Charlie)  Charlotte, NC; her mother, Nilsa Diaz, San Juan , Puerto Rico; two sisters, Gilda Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico;  Gloria Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico; brother, Samuel Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico; two grandchildren, Angel and Angelina San Miguel, Enterprise, AL.
