Nita Myers White went to be with the Lord April 9^th, 2024. She was born July 21^st, 1934, in Samson, Alabama. She attended Samson Elementary School and later graduated from the Alabama School for the Deaf at Talladega, AL. She was a member of Blue Valley Baptist Church in Highlands, NC. 

Nita was preceded in death by her husband Clifford “Roy” White, her parents, O.G. and Lennye Myers, one brother and one sister. She is survived by one brother, Neil Myers (Anne) of Aiken, SC, three daughters: Dani Velke (John) of Samson, Debra Rogers (Tommy) of Clayton, GA, Davie Cox (Paul) of Columbiana, AL, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Pittman Funeral Home in Samson, AL on Monday April 15^th from 3pm to 4pm followed by a graveside service at Travelers Rest Cemetery at 4:30pm.
