Miss Norma Jean Eason, originally of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 78.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Friday, February 22, at Johns Rideout Mortuary-Elmwood, Birmingham, Alabama. The burial will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery. Her nephew Joel Hester of Franklin, Tennessee will be officiating at the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Greater Birmingham Humane Society.

Norma was born to Raymond Cleatus and Mildred Eason of Birmingham.  She was a loving daughter and caregiver to both her mother and father while continuing to work as a legal secretary for the Jefferson County Court System.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are: Brother, Raymond Nelson (Peggy) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; Sister, Linda Sartain of Geneva, Alabama; nieces; Tracey Hester (Joel), Franklin, Tennessee; Rachel Purvee (Eddie), Bonifay, Florida; nephew, Jason Sartain (Candace), Geneva.
