OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

Mr. Lee Leonard Cantrell, age 91, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, November 1, 2012, in Graceville, Florida.


Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, November 3, 2012, from Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Rick Patterson and Reverend Shane Traylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 9:30 A. M. until service time.


Mr. Cantrell was born April 21, 1921 in McMinnville, Tennessee to the late James Monroe and Zennie Florence Martin Cantrell. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and later worked with various aircraft maintenance contractors at Fort Rucker as an aircraft sheet metal specialist. Mr. Cantrell was a member of Masonic Lodge #287.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ella Turner Cantrell; and his daughter, Susan Cantrell Paramore.


Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Sharon Cantrell of Dothan, Alabama, Sammy O. and Melanie Cantrell of Hodgesville, Alabama;


five grandchildren, Brandy and Jason Cantrell, Keith Cantrell, Ashley Paramore and his wife, Laura, Jennifer Polumbo and her husband, Billy,


six great grandchildren, Logan, Keegan and Aaliyah Cantrell, Aaron and Hayden Polumbo, Janna Paramore.
