OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348



Mrs. Dorothy Faulk Teal, 90, of Elamville, died Saturday, January 10, 2015, in Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.


Funeral Services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, January 12, 2015, from Elamville Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kenneth Earles officiating. Interment will follow in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.


Mrs. Teal was born February 20, 1924 in Barbour County to the late Stanley Marion Faulk and Laura Anna Courtney Faulk.  She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Teal; two sisters, Lois Garris and Cullie Hagler; and two brothers, Marion Faulk and R. A. “Jack” Faulk.


Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Danny Brown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Debbie Teal, Stanley and Connie Teal all of Troy; six grandchildren, Daniel Brown of Mobile, Jaimie Eiland of Millbrook, Bryan Teal of Troy, Jared and Ashleigh Petty, of Ft. Walton, and Justin Petty of Troy;  two great grandchildren, Jessie Eiland and Charleigh Eiland; two sisters-in-law, Jimmie Nell Faulk and Dorothy Danner.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
