OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348


Mrs. Rejina Owens Barclift Hazenfield, 82, of Ozark, died Friday evening, July 24, 2015, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.


A memorial service for Mrs. Hazenfield will be held 3:30 P. M. Monday, July 27, 2015, in the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend Meghan Kelley, Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither, and Reverend Sam Williams officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  Interment will be in the Church Scattering Garden.  The family will receive friends Monday at the church from 1:30 P.M. until service time.


Mrs. Hazenfield was born March 2, 1933 in Henry County to the late William “Bill” Owens and Lonie Lee Watson Owens.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark where she sang in the choir, served as Secretary of the Administrative Board, and was a member of the John Wesley Sunday School Class. Mrs. Hazenfield was a member of The Friends of the Library and also PEO.  She was a retiree of the Ozark Housing Authority and the Ozark Housing Development Inspectors (OHDI).  She enjoyed gardening.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gus Owens.


Survivors include her husband, Glen Hazenfield of Ozark; her daughter, Janet Barclift of Birmingham; her son, David Barclift of Ozark; her brother, Gene Owens of Daphne, Alabama;   step-children, Mike and Suzanne Hazenfield of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Manny and Susan Fernandez of Fairfax Station, Virginia, and Leslie Hazenfield of Apopka, Florida; step-grandchildren, Kurt and Rachel Hazenfield of Stilwell, Kansas; step-great grandchild, Jack Hazenfield.


Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Ozark-Dale County Library, 416 James Street, Ozark, Alabama  36360.
