MIDLAND  CITY. . .Olga Hicks Windham, a resident of Midland City, died early Saturday morning, January 30, 2021, at her home. She was 91.


       Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Brother Scott Cox, Pastor of the Bay Springs Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.


       Mrs. Windham was born and reared in Dale County, between Headland & Midland City. She moved to Midland City in 1959, where she was a member of the Midland City Baptist Church. Mrs. Windham attended Wallace Community and received a Nursing Degree.  She retired from the Southeast Alabama Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Telemetry Tech. Mrs. Windham was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Hicks, her husband, Wayne Windham, and two sons, Jimmy Windham and Ronnie Windham.


       Surviving relatives include a daughter, Janet Grizzle, Midland City; two sons, Jerry Windham (Gayle), Midland City, and Mike Windham (Lee), Winfield, AL; a sister, Jeanette Austin, Mobile, AL; eight grandchildren, Kim Orr (Norman), Keith Windham (Monica), Lauren Cowgill (Casey), Wendy Hatcher (Jason), April Wright, Mercedes Musto, Savannah Windham and Sydney Windham; numerous great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.
