It is with great sadness that the family of Olga Rodriguez (Olgie) announces her passing after 3 years of battling breast cancer, on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the age of 63 years.

 

Olga was a Texas native, and a longtime resident of Daleville, AL where she raised her family.

 

Olga will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 13 years, David Thompson Jr., Daleville and family; her daughters: Chastity (Nelson) Lascano, Enterprise and Niki (Michael Wilmes) Rodriguez, Louisville, KY.  She will also be fondly remembered by her four granddaughters: Gabriela, Ellyce, Rosalee and Isabela; her sisters: Stella (Marty) Gomez, Lubbock, TX, Nora Gonzales, Lansing, MI, Josie (Tom) Henningsen, Binghamton, NY, Angie (Gilbert) Encizo, Lockney, TX, Yolanda Gonzales, Lockney, TX, Susie Gonzales, Binghamton, NY, and MaryLou Gonzales, Temple, TX; brother, Cosme Gonzales Jr., Lockney, TX; and sister-in-law, Dolores Gonzales, McKinney, TX.  Olga will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

 

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Cosme and Guadalupe Gonzales; brothers: Arturo Gonzales, Freddie Gonzales, and David Gonzales; and grandson, Carlos Ivan Lascano.
