Oliver Keith Wieseler

A celebration of Oliver’s life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with Bro. Michael Lawler officiating. The family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the service. The family would like to request that all who attend dress in colors that support autism awareness or Paw Patrol attire in honor of Oliver.

Oliver Keith Wieseler graced this world with his presence on November 27, 2018, in Birmingham, Alabama. His journey on earth came to a peaceful close on December 7, 2023, in Ozark, Alabama, surrounded by the love of his cherished family. Oliver's five years were a testament to the joy and laughter a child can bring into the lives of those around him.

Born to loving parents, Trevor Wieseler (Jenna) and Garrett Peeterse (Alex Kirlew), Oliver was a beacon of light from his very first breath. His grandparents, Sandra McSween, Geri and Heath Wieseler, Karen Kirlew, and Marcus Medina; as well as his great grandparents, Olga Medina, Evon Pierson and Dolsie Kirlew, doted on him with boundless affection. His aunts, Ashley Carter (Joe), Tene Ryals, Kelly Janicke; uncle, T.J Janicke; and his cousins, Christian and Kaylee Carter, found in Oliver a source of endless entertainment and love. He is also survived by many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his special friends, Alley Moffett, Sabrina Resz, Ashley Hardy, Harley Babcock, Victoria Ward, and Trinity Smith.

Oliver was spirited and full of character. His sassy and funny facial expressions could light up any room and often did. He found joy in the simplest of pleasures, like tearing up and playing with paper, a pastime that never failed to elicit his infectious giggle. His intelligence shone brightly, especially when playing with his tablet, where he mastered games like "Where is my water" with impressive skill. Television brought great excitement to Oliver's life. His favorite shows, "Bluey" and "Paw Patrol," were sources of constant amusement and companionship.

Oliver's love for snuggling was unparalleled, especially when accompanied by his cat, Rynx, who was his faithful companion and confidant. Music held a special place in Oliver's heart. He loved to sing along to the movie "Frozen," his voice a sweet melody that could melt the heart of anyone within earshot.

Animals were Oliver's passion. His enthusiasm for all creatures great and small was evident to all who knew him. The joy he found in his interactions with animals was a beautiful sight to behold. Mickey Mouse held a special place in Oliver's world, and the antics of the "Three Musketeers" always managed to make him burst into laughter.

Oliver's essence can best be described as loving, funny, and gentle. His tender nature and warm spirit were a comfort to his family and friends. His laughter was a reminder of the innocence and beauty of childhood, and his gentle soul taught everyone around him the meaning of unconditional love.

As we say goodbye to Oliver Keith Wieseler, we remember a life that, though brief, was filled with moments that will be cherished forever. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him, serving as a beacon of love and happiness. Oliver's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were touched by his extraordinary spirit.

And though he has departed from this world, the memories of Oliver's loving nature, his delightful humor, and his gentle soul will remain with us always, a treasured gift that time cannot diminish. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a precious child who brought immeasurable joy to everyone he encountered.
